Gramby sent this little tree for Lewis. It fell over and got messed up today before I went to snap a pic.
Christmas 2009 was a new kind of holiday for me. This is the first year that I didn’t travel home to Richmond and I have to admit I shed a few tears when I called home and heard everyone having fun in the background. My mother in law, my husband’s cousin and two younger cousins all came up to visit. They arrived late Christmas night so the morning belonged to just our little family.
I can’t wait until Lewis is old enough to really enjoy the festivities! I bought him way too much stuff and he received a ton of gifts from Gramby (what my Mom has decided he will call her!) and Auntie P. My husband’s family came later and bought even more gifts for Lewis. He made out like a bandit! The holidays came at the perfect time because he is between sizes 0-3 and 3-6 months and desperately in need of new PJ’s. His toes were pressing against the bottom on his current jammies!
Everyone cooed over Lewis the entire weekend and I think he was exhausted by all the love at the end. He wasn’t really “himself” until the next day LOL. We’ve all recovered now and I’m happy to have some work from home time to give some loving to my little guy. Christmas 2009 is a wrap.

Awwww no need to cry from missing Christmas! You were with us in spirit, but you did miss some classic game time moments. Like, why did Charity and her friend Lonnie, take less than a second to get the following word during Taboo: Charity’s Clue: Not a thong Lonnie’s Answer: G-string! Too funny, especially since it took them forever to get anything else! We will make up for it when you come in March
OMG! I’m pouting (and somewhat disgusted LOL).
Cute holiday decorations, though!
He’s sooooooooo cute in his Santa outfit. I can hardly stand it!
I love the faces he makes. Happy New Year!
