Lovely, Love My Family

It still trips me out that I have my own family now.  I remember getting adorable annual photo Christmas cards from my college friend with her husband and precious son (and then second son!).  I truly never though that I would never have anything like that.  That’s not the best attitude to have, but I never called myself an optimist!

You just never know how your life will turn out.  I am so thankful for my family – really and truly.  I love The Mister to death no matter how much I fuss at him for leave wadded up paper towels (why?) all over the place and for always leaving the kitchen cabinet doors open (again why?).  Lewis is my baby and my love for him knows no bounds…even though he pooped in the tub a few weeks ago (yuck!).

Here are some more of the pictures from our session with the fabulous Emily E.  I will definitely send out nice Christmas cards this year!

My mom asked me if I was wearing "some kind of wig". Sigh. All my hair, I just did a braid out...the only style I can handle on my own.

I love this picture of the two of us. I will be ordering a copy for my desk immediately.

He didn't want to wear that hat while we were taking picture. Then later he decided he loved it and didn't want to take it off!

Cute cute cute! Love the one of the two of you and yes your hair looks fab. Hey, is that the outfit I got him for his bday?

Yes it is! It was perfectly preppy without looking like Church/Easter clothes…exactly what I wanted. :)

I love all of these pics! Jasmine and I need to take some family pics soon. S.Lewis is soooo handsome! I’m thinking of an arranged marriage for him and jas. Can we do that in the states? Lol

Hmmm….Does Jasmine come with a dowry like the old school tradition? When the family loses a son, it loses a valuable workhorse!
Take some pictures, quickly. Almost time for Christmas cards!

    Jasmine’s on the list LOL!
They have 2 YGG soundtracks out – that song is on the 1st one. I bought them to help settle Lewis down on long car trips.

Great family pics!! We’re going this weekend, so my fingers are crossed that the little dude will cooperate.

Lewis wasn’t very co-operative but you only need a few good shots! Real photographers (AKA not people who suck at taking pictures like me) get the shot fast. There was lots of tickling and Hokey-Pokey-ing going on behind the scenes though.

Gorgeous photos! I can’t wait til I have my own little family. I’m still shocked sometimes that I’m someone’s wife. :-)

I took me a long time to get used to that too…and I haven’t even been a wife for all that long.
