Lewis!

Lewis

I didn’t make it to induction day.  I started having cramps at work last Wednesday morning, contractions through the night Thursday and Friday.  My water broke around 9:30AM on Saturday morning and Lewis was born at 9:51PM that evening.  Unfortunately, I ended up with a dreaded C-Section which I why I’m so behind on posting this today.   I’m strong though and getting better each day.  Things didn’t go exactly as planned due to things out of my control but I’m proud of how far I made it along.  My baby is healthy and happy and bringing me so much joy.  The Mister and I are so excited.  Full story to follow sooner or later!

Hey Kia, long time no message I have bee MIA from the fitness world, my bad! Anyhow congrats on your new addition he is absolutely adorable!! I wish you a speedy recovery from your c-section, I’ve had two so I know it can feel like forever at times, but just hang in there!! Hope you are enjoying every second with your new little one, they are so fun and grow SO fast! =)

Hey! I remember you from Spark! Clearly I’ve been spending the past year over at Babyfit instead of Spark LOL. Thanks for the well-wishes. I’m moving as much as possible while resting as much as possible. It’s my ideal way to start off parenthood but I’m making it. :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!! enjoy your new addition.. :) such a cutie

by the way invest in a few girdle style panties to help keep the air out of your csection incision.. they will also help to keep your abs in and tight. :) my grandmother taught me that and I was able to bounce back a lot sooner than normal.. I didn’t listen the first time.. but with my 2nd child I did :)

He is absolutely, amazingly adorable! Congratulations! You and the Mister done good. I admire your positive attitude about how things went. You are so right…your baby is healthy and happy and that’s all that matters. I wish you a speedy recovery from the Cesarean birth.

Congratulations! I am so excited for you and The Mister! Sorry to hear you had a c-section, but the most important thing is that you and Lewis are both healthy. He is adorable!

Because you were so extremely fit before and during your pregnancy, I bet your recuperation will go well.

Best wishes to you all and hope you get some well-deserved rest.

Look at him!! He is adorable and, from the looks of the first picture, already giving the side-eye! :) Congratulations, and I am soooo happy that you all made it through. Look at him all curled up..he is just way too cute!

LOL! I have thought the same thing. He does give me the side-eye…especially when I’m cooing all over him. He looks at me like “Mommy Please!”
