I don't understand that - it's not like you run in a straight line all the time (if I'm thinking of the same stroller). I walked a 5k last June while my friends ran it. Since I was the only one in the group walking - I agreed to push the baby. That locked wheel annoyed the heck out of me when we had to turn and I can only imagine how much it would destroy momentum had I been running. I was walking at a pretty fast pace too. So my only recommendation would be to get one where the front wheel turns - but I'm sure the manufacturers know something I don't, LOL <strong><i>What kind of stroller was it that you pushed? I think the thing with the locking is to prevent drifting to the side which happens with a swivel stroller if the path is uneven. I think you also have to factor in the size of your car's storage space because the joggers are bulkier. btw, our dog is a Maltese <strong><i>Ah, I didn't even think of the storage space.
